Well I guess that's not technically an advice animal. Anyway, you get the idea.

I challenge you to find a photo of anyone more wasted than David Lee Roth.

I was about to say the Ian McLagen, Ronnie Wood and Rod Stewart one on page 3. At first I was about to call that one fake, because of three facts that don't add up:

A. They are all in a bathroom together
B. They are Ian McLagen, Ronnie "$5000 a day habit" Wood and Rod Stewart
D. (the one that doesn't add up) The mirror on the towel dispenser has not been removed to do cocaine on.

C. is for cocaine, which the letter is missing in my list to signify that the cocaine is all gone 'cause Ronnie did all of it.

But I suppose rock stars can afford their own mirrors, or maybe there is some naked groupie covered in coke somewhere outside the frame. So I guess it's legit.

However, upon viewing the Roth photo you speak of, damn you're right. Rock on, Dave. No one that could say you ever half-assed having a damn good time during your life.

All those pictures of a young Carrie Fisher make me remember why I had such a crush on her when I was a wee lad.

1) It's fun to see celebrities young and beautiful when in your mind you think of them as old and characterful.

2) Hugh Hefner has always been a douche.

I know it clocks me in at about 5 years old emotionally but "James Dean about to punch Rock Hudson in the dick" is going to get repeated over and over and over in my house.

Maybe it's all that (2008! Shit!) MeFi Crunk Punch Em in The Dick that has me all dick punchy.

I wanted to get angry at this tumblr-type blog for not providing any context, but sometimes, the caption (and it's reality) is simply enough. Why yes, that is Robert Redford getting photobombed by Dustin Hoffman, and I am enjoying it. Thank you. Oh, and then James Dean is about to punch Rock Hudson in the dick. Again, you are correct, and thanks for this.

Still, would a little context kill you? Yes? Oh well, I asked.

And why did no one tell me Walt Disney was the first Hipster? Sorry, I'll lay off of Hipsters now.

box: But I don't think that's the real Pink Panther.

Nor do I think that's the real Trent Reznor in the picture frame below.

davebush: I challenge you to find a photo of anyone more wasted than David Lee Roth.

Give them 5 minutes, and this deer would be a winner.

Yes. I know for a fact that all the photos of Freddie Mercury were lifted directly from past issues of the Official International Queen Fan Club Magazine and are all copyrighted. I'm guessing the other photos are likewise "borrowed" without permission since no credit is given.

A lot of these have been featured on Ain't it Cool News' behind the scenes pic of the day series.

Here is the original run before the site meltdown in mid December. The have continued the series but they do not have a running list of links anymore.

This is one of my favorites.

Colonel Harlan Sanders was indeed a real person and an interesting cat. I think it's interesting in that his franchising success didn't occur for him until he was in his 60s.
