Oh yeah, sure, very "realistic". Everyone, even the cheese puff stained fingers of the Donkey Kong playing loser, knows if you hop the road barrier to the right at the start of that race, it just gives you a lap and spits you right back to the start line. Level takes twenty five seconds, tops.

The Zelda trailer was cute, but would it have been that hard to work in a "hey, listen!" in for Navi?

They could have done without the 1980s effect, and simply labeled it as a Wes Anderson-directed chick flick.

But they already did that joke with God of War.

I didn't get most of the movie references in the second one. It was mostly Breakfast Club, right? I like Tingle

A teen movie about my life would be mostly playing Mario Kart

I didn't get most of the movie references in the second one either - a little before my time, I guess. I think Link is supposed to resemble Bender in Breakfast Club, although the plot was making me think more of Sixteen Candles.

Does this make more sense if you don't watch or like movies?

It was half Breakfast Club and half Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Probably a few I don’t know thrown in.
