looking for a deck builder in windsor

Just moved to windsor ontario with a nice big backyard Hey guys! I just moved to the windsor ontario area and im looking for a contractor to build my deck. I've taken the time to draw up a design and look into the rules for our municipality but the city says they need a more detailed drawing. I'm looking for a wood material or trex. So far from my co-workers I've gotten referrals from decks and fences by ryan and someone suggested the installation crew at the home depot Let me know if anyone has had a deck built around the area I'd appreciate any insight.

Hey Joe, you should have posted this to Ask MetaFilter, not the front page. Assuming you're not a spammer, you should check out the MeFi Wiki to learn a bit more about how & where to post.

I had a deck built in Windsor, Ontario, and I haven't looked back since. It's a huge expanse of treated gopher wood, stretching off toward the horizon. I told all my friends: "COME, VIEW MY DECKING, YOU DECKLESS PIPSQUEKS, AND DESPAIR!" And when they came, I laughed at their stupidity in not choosing a similar, deck-centric existence. "FOOLS!" I cried, in capslock. "DID NOT THE LORD SAY UNTO THEE, BUILD UNTO ME A GIANT DECK IN WINDSOR, ONTARIO, AND YAY LET IT MEASURE 300 CUBITS BY 200 CUBITS AND GET A REFERRAL FROM RYAN, FOR HE IS PLEASING IN MY SIGHT" - ? And they wept, and shook their heads, and it was probably the worst barbeque I've ever hosted, but - you know what? Fuck those guys.

I've seen things ...posts shorted out on the front page - spammers falling into the memory gap ...all these posts will be gone - like comments, in the queue....time ...to mod.

I did the Flash interface for Ryan, and let me tell you, the guy is a prick. First of all, in order to speak to him, you have to go through like ten subordinates, and finally they drive you up to this place way out in Northern Ontario, where it turns out Ryan spends most of his time in hermetic isolation. His house is, no joke, surrounded by like 3 square miles of deck, with absolutely nothing on it, not even furniture. You just walk out into this field, accompanied by these bodyguards, and when you finally get off all the decking up to his doorstep and in the door, there is this complex maze of fencing that you have to walk through, that goes up and down these stairs and finally take you to this crusty, chain-smoking old guy who speaks like an oracle and only communicates to you through interpreters. Good pay, though, and generally affordable prices.
