Cute, but kind of derivative, isn't it? Wegman's bits on Sesame Street really nailed the surreal vibe. Dog Baking, for instance. "The sandwich is caught on my tooth!"

Man, I love dogs. *Especially* yellow labs. But dogs in general. This is lots of fun. Surprised they hold back as well as they do, even account for hand-restraint.

Wegman's best work is his work for children. His Alphabet Soup video has a scene that reminds me a lot of this one where Batty and Crooky are making alphabet soup, and the recipe requires the soup to have one ingredient for every letter in the alphabet. Some ingredients, like the "H" hot dogs, don't make it into the soup.

The dogs don't seem confused at all to me, they seem like they were rehearsed -- watch how one follows the hand to seem like he's "talking" to the other. I mean really, how else to explain that they don't just push past the hands and the cutlery and wolf down a plate of food? The hand work was amazing. The Lab's "hands" reminded me very much of this guy.

What good dogs. I can tell you what would happen if I put my two dogs in this situation and it involves one dog escaping from her sweater and gobbling both plates of food, whilst the other dog devised a novel way to get himself hurt.
