My Bad Parent

This post was deleted for the following reason: there are a lot of people who are really not liking these "hey look at these asshole parents" things. This is basically People of Walmart with slightly better design. -- jessamyn

Nice. It's been far too long since Microsoft Word Art has had a seat on the main stage.

This one is maybe the worst Photoshopping job I've ever seen.

As much as the children are our future and blah blah, I really dislike these meanspirited look-at-these-fucking-assholes Tumblr things.

Me neither.

I love self-deprecating "Look at us fucking assholes" Tumblrs, yet I despise "Look at those fucking assholes" Tumblers. The current entry could have gone either way, but the second one on the page clinched it as the latter.

A lot of these are reposts from People of Wal Mart and Photobomb and stuff, too.

Oh man, this one is actually really, really cute. I guess the parenting fail is letting your kid chew on currency, which is notoriously filthy.

Not funny. I repeat: not funny, even remotely.

It's funny if you don't have kids!

Another fascinating cornucopia of reposts, obviously-posed pseudotransgressions, and the relatively innocuous--dang, is it Wednesday already?

It may be funny if you don't have kids, but what about if you were ever yourself a kid?

The only comment one can make about de rigueur hater tumblr sites is the following:

Meh.

Thank you very much.

Is that some kind of dig about Pavlovian tendencies?

*phew* I didn't make it on there. Although I see ColdChef did.

Some of these are faked, some are staged jokes. Some like the Britney one and the children on leashes or lying down on the floor - what parent hasn't been there dealing with a writhing tantrum child?

Sucks.

First photo is a little NSFW.

Second photo is a little not safe for people who care about children. A fat toddler is a crime against humanity.

Next assignment: youtube search for "hilarious cats".
That said, I clicked on for a while - in spite of myself, sort of. Until the first doubles appeared: soo sloppy. "Hurgh hurgh this is funny, hurgh, I'm gonna post it, hurgh, oh did I post this before, oops, forgot."

Generally seconded, but:

I really like this photo; if you rotate it 90 degrees counterclockwise, it kind of looks like R2D2 in the X-wing.
