I liked PatesTapes on Facebook and got a note from Charles himself not 10 minutes later thanking me and asking me to spread the word, which is a pretty awesome way to approach people who join a fan page for a passion project, I thought.

I told him that Metafilter is coming... :)

Wow, this is great. Thanks dhammond! I've been sampling streaming music services over the past little while. I had high hopes for 8Track, songza and a handful of others but this is by far the best.

I like this. Does anybody know how this works legally? Is it OK to stream digitized content from my own vinyl library?

Not trying to be a wet blanket here. I really do have a project in mind.

Well they could use a pop out player, plus ability to switch from track to track, but this incredible none the less.

plus ability to switch from track to track
