List to help.I'm on a number of mailing lists ranging from techy ones to skating and have decided to try to bring all those together so that we can have messages for volunteering and rebuilding go over more quickly. I think there would be a network effect in terms of providing news and info to people in New York.

Mmm, hot yummy self-links. Well-intentioned, but there are at least 20 other mailing lists on Yahoo alone created for the same purpose. Searches for WTC, World Trade Center, and September 11 return several lists; some popular, most not.

Actually, I don't want to have my list being another talk about the WTC one. I want it to focus on the help effort and how you can volunteer... there's a lot of info out there and it needs to be focused in one place, I think...

True, it is a self link but that's largely due to the fact that I want people to get involved with helping.
