Entanglement Place hexagonal tiles to create a winding path around the playing field. Longer paths earn more points, and the game ends when your path ends.

I've been addicted to this game for weeks! There was a neat little calculation of the highest possible score, which is interestingly not an entangled path.

Previously. (But I do enjoy the reminder.)

Ah, the URL changed. I wondered how this could have passed metafilter by.

It's like my grandma used to say--you can't go wrong with hexagons.

But then again, your grandma was a bee.

Cute little pasttime game. Exactly the kind I can play for a little bit without fearing the dreaded *click* of the switch in the back of my brain which means that suddenly 56 hours are gone and I haven't even used the restroom. I enjoyed dabbling in it. Thanks for posting. Sorry about the double.

At least the graphics and sound have been sexed up since the first post.

fun! And I must have missed it the first time it was posted, so, thanks. A bit hard sometimes to trace some of the paths through the hex you're laying down, though

They've actually changed a whole lot: the theming (abstract to Japanese), music, google integration and micropayments. They were featured in Google's web store and got a huge bump from that.

For a twist try 6-player by yourself. The board is bigger and you can come up with some awesomely long runs.

Horrible user interface. After 3 "FUCK!"s, I closed it. Perhaps it's compelling, but whatever.

Keyboard. Much better than the mouse interface.

Not sure what's so difficult about the interface. There are 4 places to click -- the swap corner in the lower left, the two rotation arrows to the lower left and lower right of the piece you're contemplating, and the piece itself which puts it into place.

Is there something more sophisticated in the UI than I have seen? Because that's pretty much all I saw, and I got a score of 80 on my second try.
