Yvonne Strahovski, of Chuck fame, lampoons Katy Perry, Ke$ha, and Gaga in Three Pop Stars, One Song. Somewhat NSFW-ish, but the lyrics are quite witty and the tune is ear-worm-y. [SLCH]

This just confirms that I don't want to even listen to a parody of Katy Perry.

I'm here to eat your penis, not in a sexual way

Maybe this is a good place to (again) mention Blonde Ambition.

Bieber at the end was pretty great.

...of Chuck fame...

I prefer to remember her as Miranda Lawson, my space girlfriend in Mass Effect 2.

God, I really miss Flight of the Conchords these days.

Oh Miranda. What uncanny valleys you have. (Not to mention weird random crotch and/or ass views. WTF Bioware?)

I did love Sarah Walker on Chuck though. At least up until when I stopped watching the show cause it was getting repetitive.

I don't even like seeing Her Ladyship's name mentioned in the same sentence as those...those other two.

This is like a third-rate 1990s Cracked magazine parody.

Well, I thought it was cute. But I have a girl crush on Yvonne Strahovski, so my opinion probably can't be trusted.

99% awful, 1% "i want to eat your penis, not in a sexual way, i need it for fuel" genius. Send it back for a rewrite around that concept and I'll happily give it 5 minutes more of my life.

College Humor: This is like a third-rate 1990s Cracked magazine parody.

(does the tagline joke ork for other websites)

I wanted to like this, but something something fish in a barrel something.

I was surprised to see this on CollegeHumor, mostly because I thought FunnyOrDie was the designated spot for schtick like this.

random hahaha some dude at bioware carefully positioned that camera for maximum assitude. for mass effect 3 i heard there's a whole department devoted to it. there was a talk at the last gdc i think.

@thedaniel

The "I love you more than I hate herpes" was pretty good too...

I liked this, especially the Kesha* and the Gaga which seem very "on the nose." The Katy Perry is less specific and could apply to a larger number of pop stars so I found it less entertaining. More to the point, I think most people would agree that the elements of the Gaga and Kesha personalities portrayed here are not particularly attractive. But a girl-next-door type who's also sort of kinky/slutty? Yeah; who could possibly find that attractive?!

*No, I will NOT use the dollar sign.

Way too much vomit!

Which, by the way, was apparently Yvonne Strahovski's idea.

To be fair, Katy Perry's existence is fairly non-specific.

Every one of these (including the Bieber) should be unlockable costume options for Miranda in ME3.

Is it me or did they have Yvonne dress up as Miranda in one or two episodes of Chuck a few months ago?

Well, she has to share with Zooey Deschanel, after all.

I don't even like seeing Her Ladyship's name mentioned in the same sentence as those...those other two.

It's all artificial, plastic dance pop. There are always one or two ok moments - the first line of Tik Tok, the chorus of Bad Romance - that could be the basis of good songs. But otherwise the whole genre has no more worth than Rebecca Black.

I thought it was far too kind to all of them. None of them are nearly as entertaining as this video is.

Actually, none of them are nearly as entertaining as a dead opossum, even.

WCityMike, this page refers to Strahovski as an "Australian impression singer and playwright," and most of the other articles I've seen about the bit refer to her singing the lyrics, so yeah, I think it is her voice.

Also: playwright?

WCityMike:

The credits tab below the video lists "Angela Ingersoll" as having done the vocals. Her webpage has a link to one of her tweets where she says she "laid down the vocals for this badass video." That's ambiguous enough that they could be background vocals, but it implies that she might have done all of them.
