From wide-eyed Ze Frank comes a new useless-and-joyful social thingy called Star.me that's like Farmville if Farmville involved giving people stars that look like animals. Sign up for an account with the promo code "sportsracers", offered by Ze on The Show::Replay, which celebrates The Show's five-year anniversary with added commentary.
I love Ze Frank, and I totally dig the positivity of this, but I don't see it taking off. Or maybe it's not for me.
But I still support the endeavor. Ze is a goddamn hero.

I doubt it's something that I'll use frequently, or maybe even after today. But it caused a quick spurt of joy on my Facebook, with everybody sending each other puppies and nerds and "bromance stars", so I thought it might be something other people would find similarly briefly fun.

The only real difference between me and Ze Frank is that both my pupils are the same size. Also, I have less hair and less energy, but other than that we're the same. Well, we would be if he were as famous as me, but really, he can't be blamed for that.

I'm a huge fan of Ze Frank, but I'm not really sure I understand this. I've had an account for a few weeks. Is it really just that "stickers" or "stamps" part of Facebook that went by the wayside a few years ago, but with a much more ebullient interface?

The I jumped up on the bed and said "kiss me! kiss me now!" She jumped off, looked at me in abject horror and started to scream for her mom. I promptly sat down before she got the scream out. We pretended nothing happened. A week later I called to see if we could hang out and she said "My mom said I can't play with boys any more."
It's a dark moment in my life, one I'm not proud of. But that is what sticker collecting means to me.

I just want to point out that the sticker messages are not at all private, so when eyeballkid send you a sticker everyone can read what he has to say!
I think this would be a bit cooler it you had the ability to remove a sticker. The lame starter sticker for example.

I tried to send to babbageclunk, and it wouldn't send. Doesn't tell me anything but "invalid action" (great... wonderful way to inform me, what, exactly the problem is)

The way they you pick recipients is kind of wonky, you can't just paste in a username, you have to type it (or at least one character of it) for the autocomplete to trigger and then pick from the autocomplete list.
