People don't always suck as much as we think

Because it never hurts to be reminded that people can be AWESOME (sorry fivesavagepalms)
That changed in December 2010, on Christmas morning, when an
anonymous donor left half a dozen Ransel backpacks at a foster home
in Maebashi, Japan. The donor used a pseudonym from a character in a
"manga" or comic series, "Date Naoto". Supposedly this is the real
name of a professional wrestler whose stage name is "Tiger Mask" --
a well-known hero among children for the last four decades.

If sports are your thing, you may have missed this story about awesome sports people - previously. How about neat companies that do neat things? And finally, for smaller bites of awesome there's NPR and of course, IMMD.

This post inspired in part by the awesome Pixar thing.

If you say awesome three times while looking in the mirror, Mila Jovovich appears. And kills you with a rusty hook.
