I have a good friend who is a paramedic, and apparently this sort of thing happens rather more frequently than you might expect. It makes me so deeply sad to think that any human can get to the point where they have so little daily contact with other people that no one notices when they are gone for a whole year. Kind of makes you realize that in the end we all do truly die alone.

What a horrible way for a Bunny to go...and the sarcastic, jokey, disrespectful link was considerably less dignified than the way a decent human being deserves to be treated. Certainly there must be a better treatment of her death somewhere out there than this one.

To be more specific, I found the OMGLOL aspect of it disrespectful. The whole situation reminded me of Marvin Schur, who froze to death after he could not pay his heating bill.
