Who needs burqas when you have Photoshop? Orthodox Israeli newspaper edits Hillary Clinton out of the situation room.

This post was deleted for the following reason: Odd/weird/whatever, but pretty thin and we've had a lot of Osama-fallout miscellany lately already. -- cortex

Something about this makes me feel satisfyingly smug.
Of course the Orthodox Israeli paper supports the idea of an extra-judicial killing of a terrorist, but not one carried out under the direction of a woman? How many moral knots do you have to tie yourself in to reach that conclusion?

Women are just too sexy. Especially women in positions of power.

They edited out the mysterious, female, Audrey Thomason too.

How unlike a ridiculous fringe to engage in ridiculous fringe behavior.

I am curious as to what we can get out of this, beyond LOLULTRAORTHODOX? This does not represent anywhere near the mainstream of Jewish or Israeli viewpoints,

Having a window into what other groups feel is important or offensive is always instructive and useful. And this is a pretty clear window into this particular group, I'd say.

FWIW, the paper is in Yiddish, not Hebrew, so it's definitely targeting people from particularly extreme parts of Orthodox Judaism.

How so? A contextualess image with a leading, factually incorrect headline (Jews don't use burquas)? Based on what is presented here, can you tell me who published it, what is said in the article, and why Clinton is absent from it?

Der Zeitung is not Israeli. It's from Brooklyn.

Well if it helps, I don't think this is funny at all.

All the photoshopping of that picture and nobody's substituted George W. for Obama? Breitbart, you're falling behind!
