Saw this on Reddit a few days ago. I love how he's all, "This has to be a trick. It's too good to be true. What's the catch?" before he finally makes a joyous run for it.

See, here's where an assumption of knowledge on the part of the writer does them an enormous disservice. Because when someone says "sea lion thread", I get excited. I'm fucking pumped up for some Saturday afternoon videos of fucking sea lions doing sea-lion-y shit.
But you obviously don't care about that, because you've left out a vital element. It's called a link. Perhaps you've heard of these, or even used them in your own life. Without them, the web is nothing.
Anyway now I have a hankering for some sea lion hilarity, and I debase myself and use the absolutely heinous and near-worthless MeFi Search, and naturally found no sea lion thread. So instead of just tantalizing me with notions of sea lion videos because you couldn't be assed to provide a link, now that I've searched and failed to find and wasted my time because of you, now I hate you.
All of which could have been so easily avoided if you'd just thought about someone other than yourself FOR ONCE IN YOUR LIFE and put a link in the comment.
