24in60 The last 24 hours in 60-second, unbiased news bites.
Do we think Sharon Lebell, whose translation of an ancient Greek text is shilled in the footer, is the supposedly-unbiased author of the news bites? (The About page was written in the first person.)

these news bites are biased toward existence and the saying of words

Biased, but in a good way.

Bias aside (there is always bias in selecting what to post), insufficient info to be worth it...Not much beyond the news items running at bottom of tv screen while news being give on tv.

Similar to this.

Agreed - it's a naive claim. I'll admit to reading it in a slightly meta way, noting what the writer has chosen to highlight or ignore compared to my other sources of news (the second half of the Today programme, The Guardian, the World Service news).
The format/concept is interesting, though, and I rather like the brusque style.

Could be, but it'd be a bit odd to run an anonymous site and link to yourself so obviously, I think.

I'm sorry, but the length of text is not measured in seconds.

Thanks for this jack_mo. It's good to get the main points in a straightforward way. It can be grueling at times to get the major news stories of the day and have to sift through all the hype and the crap.
On the about page of the website, it clarifies a couple of points.

Frankly, I think it would be far healthier for news organizations to have an acknowledged bias that they own up to. Imagine if Fox News could/would admit they were far right, and CNN center left (or whatever.)
