I really that was going to suck. I was wrong.

Ah, nightmare fodder, it's been so long.

Veiny musclebound seagull, I am looking at YOU.

But I think I love the cardinal with binos even more.

I think it's funny how much more personality a bird has with arms than without. My favorite is the bird with a cocked head that turns into a confused shrug with the arm addition.

Turks with arms.

I've always said that birds would look better with little arms. I think these pictures prove me right.

Ancient, but surprisingly never gets old.

These birds are armed and dangerous.

aw c'mon, you were thinking the same thing!

And now I won't be able to look at a seagull without thinking of the cast of Jersey Shore.

Thanks a lot, Internet.

Cows with Guns?

Oh thank heavens, it's just photoshops of birds with human arms. I was worried I was going to revisit the time my Quaker parrot got a hold of that air cooled, belt fed machine gun and all the carnage that followed.

Besides, birds with teeth is a way creepier thing.

Veiny musclebound seagull, I am looking at YOU.

They had to beef up to protect themselves from Steven Seagull. It's a seagull arms race, really.

These people are just excersing their right to arm birds.

I already have a massive bird phobia. What on earth made me decide to click on that link? Won't sleep for days now. (I did like the little bird with the trenchcoat, umbrella & flowers, though.)

That was Wanderlei Silva's hardest fight.

The training regimen was gruesome----all those black market surgeons sewing arms to de-winged birds to try and simulate his opponent's attack.

Birds already have arms. We call them "wings".

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say this is the best website about birds with arms I've come across.

I don't want to piss in anyone's swimming pool or anything, but I think some of these might be photoshopped.
posted by Jofus at 11:20 AM on June 16, 2011

They also have cocks. We call them "roosters".

The frightening thing is how quickly birds with arms begin to look normal. Like, now a bird without arms just looks naked.

That's my favorite too, pemberkins.

The penguins actually look like they were meant to have arms because their wings are the most arm-like.
