Decades after a forced sterilization program in North Carolina left thousands of women unable to bear children, the state is now considering paying reparations to the victims. Personal testimonials have unearthed a great deal of suffering that the eugenics program caused, and to many, any amount of money in compensation will never be enough. (Previously: 1, 2)
