571 is out. I don't have time for the longest video ever on youtube. 48 hours is too much. 36 hours, 24 hours,... too much. 13 hours? Too long! I don't have time for 10 hours. On the other hand, this film seemed all too short. It reminded me of another film with some guy and a cat (although Part 2 was better) which I think I saw in an abstract movie about food.

Some statistics:
Dogs. 14 hours
Cats. 10 hours
Hamsters. 1 hour

The long ones are awful. Agonizing and dull.

The short ones are awful. Harrowing and sharp.

From this observation, a general rule: If your film lacks story, structure, character, and any sort of technical competence, keep it short.

Speaking of train rides, NRK recently produced a five-day-long video of the Norwegian Coastal ferry going up the coast in Norway from Bergen to Kirkenes. It's not on YouTube, but you can stream it here

Actually I kind of like [EPILEPSY WARNING] 517 run through the yooouuu. It's more visually interesting that its source. You could put that on a TV somewhere for a sort of ambient abstract kinetic arty thing you only had to mess with every fortnight and a half.
