The Grandy Man: the story of Yankees All-Star Curtis Granderson's bond with the family of Brian Bluhm, a Detroit Tigers fan and blogger, gunned down in the Virginia Tech shootings in 2007.

Curtis Granderson's parents are the stars of the family having raised a real gentleman. He is one of the most understated stars in all of baseball.

Was sad to see the Tigers let go of him. A true class act. Wish him nothing but the best.

Echoing the sentiment. Grandy is one of the rare genuinely decent people in pro sports and I hope that he does well, even if it is with the Yankees.

I'm a Mets fan, so it's rare that I'll give a Yankee props, but between Jeter's 3000th and Granderson's class act, I'm doing it twice in a month.
