These are really interesting, thanks. Reminds me of Studs Terkel's Working. Always interesting to hear people's descriptions of their lives like this.

Shouldn't that third link just be titled: 'Letters from Men'?

Letters From Women Who Watch Pornography might actually tell us something we don't know.

Some men don't watch pornography, due to being blind.

This is really interesting stuff, thanks for posting.

I love how the silhouette of the john is a guy in a suit, while the man who watches pornography has a trench coat on. Like it's still 1974.

This is old, but Breslin's stories about what she did after she lost her job are interesting and show someone who made lemonade out of the situation in creative ways. Give that person a job.

I've adapted the old saw about masturbation: 95% of men look at porn, and 5% of men are compulsive liars.

Very interesting read. It is always interesting reading about people's reasons for doing things (or lack thereof)

I can kind of see where she's coming from, if she's talking about women who are with men they despise simply to be taken care of. It's not an original sentiment. But I know guys who are happy to let their girlfriends/wives support them, and don't hear near as many people calling them gigolos. ...Although, to be fair, there's a hell of a lot more social stigma attached to female sex workers than male sex workers. I might venture to say that mainstream society doesn't think much of male sex workers at all.

Anyhow, it's interesting to hear these people's stories.

I'm really surprised this hasn't been posted here before. I was sure that the blue was where I originally saw Letters From Johns. Now I have no idea where I saw it. Hrmph.
