My wife and I had the conversation where we disagreed where Sesame Street was... as a kid of the '70s, the city most on the rebound was Philly... therefore Seasame Street took place in Philadelphia. When my wife was a kid, NYC was the place to be, so it clearly took place in NYC. As adults, we agree it's probably not in Philly, NYC, Boston, Providence or DC... but it might be there, just someplace we haven't been to yet...
