I recently re-purchased Back to Black. It's a superb album, and I was already sad thinking she'd never get to top it. Such a fucking waste.

A terrible shame. Years back I went to see her at the Shepherds Bush Empire. Her whole family were next to me. They were proud as punch. Great concert.

I'd really have liked Rehab just to have been a great song, not a forecast.

This is one of the least surprising celebrity deaths I've ever seen, but it's still a shame. She was a great artist.

I suspect her death (and life) will do more to keep kids from drugs than 10,000 cops boring kids with the DARE program.
