Bath salts? No Bath salts. Maine, Ohio, Maryland, Illinois, Maine again, Missouri, Wisconsin, and Arizona. Readily available for your enjoyment. Previously.

This post was deleted for the following reason: Not totally clear why we need another post about the whole bath salts phenomenon, but it should probably be more than a roundup of local news blurbs if there's something that merits doing, and the timing following your metatalk today plus the supply boys link feels awfully like a stunt post in an any case. -- cortex

This is the biggest scam. I've been sitting here snorting line after line of Epsom salts and it hasn't done a goddamned thing.

This is a lot of links to news stories that we've kind of heard before. With the link to a place to actually buy the questionable salts, this kind of looks stunt posty after your earlier MeTa post.

Looking at that page, I literally have no idea which products are the most potent or even if there's a qualitative difference between them.

This officially makes me old, right?

There is a class compoenent to the popularity of stimulants in working class sections of the west and midwest, just as there is one for pharmaceuticals.

Good. That shit is pure evil. If we can't have weed, or shrooms, or anything a reasonable person might want, then we should ABSOLUTELY get rid of meth and bath salts.

I live in the Meth Capital Of The World (Western PA) and I have an ex who accidentally did meth one time (he thought it was coke). His saving grace was that he was smart enough to recognize the guy for what he was and the drug for what it was. I would LOVE to place a transcript of that meth'd up phone conversation here but it lasted like 8 hours.

Point was, he knew once he got it in his system that it was an evil, evil thing. I talked him down. He never wanted to do it in the first place. He was a tad innocent, and you people would not even be able to believe what meth does to the otherwise innocent.

And yes I know this isn't a conversation about meth, but bath salts are worse. Worse. Good for OH and please don't do it. It will not end well (I'm also not far from NE Ohio, the epicenter of bath salts). It's mostly just meth under a new name and with (horrible) hallucinations.
