United States Debt Deal Reached

United States Reach Debt Deal After the past few weeks of uncertainty, the US has reached a debt deal compromise. Complete with a Super Congress and no real spending decrease, or tax increase. What's your take, is the US democracy officially dead and ruled by corporations/elites? Or is this the beginning of a new phase of democracy?
