Dead Cyborg has the heart of a text adventure within the body of a 3d engine (youtube trailer). Caveats: donationware - future episodes dependent on donations. burster plug-in required for browser play

No Linux or Mac versions yet. Burster plugin is Linux and Windows only. Unless you want to run in a VM, Mac looks to be SOL ATM.

I tried to install the Burster plugin on Ubuntu... I'm pretty sure I followed the instructions, but Firefox doesn't show the plugin in the appropriate section of Add-Ons, and says I need to download a plugin to view the content on the game's page.
