I want to like this, but there's no way to really tell whether you're about to miss a dot successfully. The limit to lateral movement also feels kinda forced.

Sure, this might seem kinda lame, but there is a good chance that in twenty years this exact same website will work in exactly the same way on every device imaginable, the same way that web pages from 1995 still work. YAY HTML!!
