Juggalos are probably the only people left who like Charlie Sheen.

89 things I learned at the gathering of the Juggalos. Don't go to the Faygo bar.
This post was deleted for the following reason: We just did the Juggalo gathering thing already this week. -- mathowie
Nothing on magnets yet? Damn, the mystery continues.

I'd sincerely love to check out a Gathering, but it seems like it would be a weird form of gentrification or pretending to be Muslim to see Mecca

Whoa there. Last week we decided we liked Juggalos, what happened? Was it the pictures?

24. The back of Ron Jeremy's head is gross.
Wait until you get a load of the rest of him.
I mean a look.

I'm really impressed that any fights always got defused by "family" shouts. That's impressive social pressure (or whatever the word is I'm looking for).

Yeah in all fairness, looks pretty nasty.

"Say what you will about the tenets of Juggalos, but at least it's an ethos with an awesome flatbed bus, Dude."

It's an interesting glimpse into quite a niche subculture. And it's healthier than the tea party.
The interesting thing to consider here is that the Juggalos predate the Tea Partiers and represent, arguably, a healthier social coping mechanism.

The Juggalos make this comic do a bong rip on stage.

That might be the most even-handed look at that subculture that I ever seen.

Any musical genre that traces its roots back to Geto Boys can't be all bad.

I was ready to get my whitey hate on. But that was a really nicely done piece. The blogger has a nice heart. eg: numbers 7 and 26.

I suspect I'd enjoy hanging out with juggalos as long as they were downwind.

I heard plenty of clapping in that Posehn clip. Now that 1 of the 89 things has been debunked, the rest are sure to follow, like a chain of clown-painted ninja dominoes. Is there an e in dominos? Too bad there's really no way for me to ever find out.

I'm always kind of amazed at this Wild Kingdom 'observe these curious creatures' vibe that pops up in ICP/Juggalo threads. They just seem kind of like a hip-hop influenced version of Kiss or Alice Cooper to me (which is a good thing, IMHO).
I think this link was intended to be a Heavy Metal Parking Lot type thing, but it dosen't quite make it. (Also, me and some of my co-workers were trying to imagine what an Indie Rock Parking Lot would be like, and figured it would be too boring to even be funny. Plus they all ride bike so there'd be no lot anyway).

Shame, no Driven by Boredom link, who has a TON of photos on his site, behind the scenes ones even.

Am I the only one here who thinks that looks kind of entertaining - fun, even?
It looks like it's something I wouldn't enjoy, but I definitely see how it could be fun. It looks like a very very wild fan convention.

Pretty entertaining field report from non-Juggalos at the same gathering.
The report is pretty gonzo in style but the ringleader was actually doing this as an ethnomusicology project for her PhD program.
