As Khoi Vinh describes them, "Dan Hipp’s extraordinarily lively illustrations are borne of some mash-up universe in which comics, sci-fi and action-adventure fiction have both been flipped over on their backs, only to reveal their shockingly adorable undersides." via Subtraction

This guy is a fantastic illustrator!

Although I have to take some umbrage with the fact that every time I reveal my shockingly adorable underside, I end up in county for another week.

These are fantastic. I've been seeing single (unlinked) illustrations by this guy all over the place so I'm glad someone posted his blog.

Man, just come out and say you don't like the guy, comparing his work to boingboing is just mean.

He's awesome, but he's very Mike Mignola.

Some say Mignola, I say Grist. A crazy lovechild of both, maybe. Nice work.
