Did anyone else encounter the real feed from Nickelodeon? It blends in remarkably well.
(Also, the one in which robo-Bieber gets hit by the balloon is genuinely frightening -- watch his complete failure to change expression -- and will haunt my dreams tonight.) posted by Clyde Mnestra at 6:08 AM on August 29, 2011

I was a little disappointed that it's click anywhere to randomize. I was hoping it would have different channels depending on the button you clicked. posted by mysterpigg at 7:25 AM on August 29, 2011
My wife gave me one piece of advice as I was leaving the house this morning; "When you get to work" she said, "Don't click the Gif-TV link on Metafilter..."
As she sat in the dark staring blankly at her computer, watching clip after clip, I realized that I've already lost her to the addiction of the link.
So I'll wait till I get home to check it out. posted by quin at 8:09 AM on August 29, 2011 [2 favorites]

my tv doesn't work. the remote doesn't either. posted by serena15221 at 9:53 AM on August 29, 2011
It cracks me up that the ad I'm getting at the bottom is for Duffy's Napa Valley Rehab center (presumably for treatment of addiction). posted by doteatop at 9:53 AM on August 29, 2011 [1 favorite]
More entertaining that I thought it would be. Wonder how many clips they have...? posted by davidmsc at 10:09 AM on August 29, 2011

Yeah, all I get is a blank tv. Do I need to have something weird enabled or turn off adblock or something? posted by ROU_Xenophobe at 10:38 AM on August 29, 2011
Adblock doesn't prevent it from working here on Linux with Firefox 6.0. I got the blank TV and no gifs showing up on another computer (using Windows) with an older version of Firefox, so the thing may be that it only works with newer browsers. posted by tykky at 11:24 AM on August 29, 2011
I love it! Yeah there *is* some NSFW stuff and it happens randomly. posted by Katjusa Roquette at 11:28 AM on August 29, 2011
I saw Barbarella on a fur rug slightly nodding her head in a 5-frame loop.
Then I saw someone running across a soccer field and getting run over by a horse. I almost don't want to change it now. I may have to open a new tab to continue. posted by Spatch at 12:03 PM on August 29, 2011
Needs more awesome cool moments like this. (The guy does his job like a trooper)
At least it's better than CheezburgerNetworks' Senor Gif, which has degenerated into a cringeworthy mix of BobSagat'sHomeVideos/Jackass/ItBleedsItLeadsNews. posted by oneswellfoop at 1:09 PM on August 29, 2011
