I didn't see if it had Texas plates, but I imagine it will.

Waiting for Alfred to show up with a tow — Batmobile BREAKS DOWN in Canada [TMZ video, slightly NSFW].

At the low speeds, it doesn't say "excitement!" as much as "gravitas." Which is something, I suppose, although, maybe, not what he was looking for.

Surprisingly affordable. If you're Bill Gates.

It may be legal to drive something that loud, but it sure ain't nice.

Yeah, that's absurdly loud, and looks really hard to maneuver. If I had stupid amounts to spend on cool cars, that one doesn't even make my top ten list.

I really like the implication that, yeah, there are plenty of Batmobiles in the world, but this one is turbine powered.

from description: “It runs on kerosene, diesel, or Jet fuel...”

Wow. In times like these, I guess that kind of flexibility is laudable. I mean, if you ever run out of kerosene, you can just pop some old jet fuel in there.

Those three fuels are very sumilar.

I fear this may arouse the wild rage of batfans but I like the Chris Nolan version of the batmobile better.

I really prefer the Batman:TAS Batmobile.

Also, I like the tumbler just for the sheer brutalness of it.

I like his answer:

@putsch1 why are you selling it?
fjawor

@fjawor I have game changing prototypes to build.

I can just see trying to get this thing registered: pull up to the emissions testing machine and melt it with turbine exhaust.

You would have thought with the asking price on that car, he would have taken his feedback rating (93.3%?!) and his listing's title "Replica/Kit Makes" (yes, that's his whole oh-so descriptive title) a bit more seriously.

Not that I am anywhere near that price tier but still, I wouldn't buy squat from that guy, with that kind of lack of attention to rather important details.

I wouldn't worry... It's not like you said that George Clooney was the best Batman or something...
