Bruce Campbell, the man, the myth, the shemp. Quicky article about an appearance during his book-signing tour, I can vouch that everything the writer says about Mr. Campbell is true. I saw him at his SLC appearance and the man is both witty, approachable, and he knows how to work a crowd. And his book is well written! Surprise surprise.

I once e-mailed bruce to get a poster signed. He was courteous and prompt, and allowed me to send the poster with return postage so that he could sign it.

I now have a Bruce poster personally signed to myself and my wife.

Bruce is a truely cool guy.

I saw Bruce Campbell at a film festival where they were screening a tiny indie film he was in called Running Time. He was great in the movie and fantastic in person: completely at ease, tremendously witty, and completely bemused and easygoing about the near-worship his more devoted fans showed towards him. I think he deserves wider success, but on the other hand, he handles being a cult figure better than just about anyone else I can imagine. He's the coolest. And he looks fantastic in glasses.

I'm going to second that Bruce's book is great! I picked it up on a business trip, and couldn't wait to get back to my room to finish it :-) Well written, witty, funy, and a hell of a read!

...after picking the wrong one and telling Bruce to take a hike, Campbell pulled out a trick knife and gutted the fake Ash on stage with blood and bowels flying out galore. As the cheers subsided, Bruce then did another Q&A with the corpse at his feet.

Gotta love that guy.

Bruce Campbell is the man. There can be no argument.

I've yet to find his book (though in truth I'm not looking as hard as I could) but from the reviews I've read, it's going to be up there with my Frank Zappa autobiogrpahy.

I would love to see a Jackie Chan/ Bruce Campbell movie. It would make those Rush hour movies look pathetic.

Too late.

How about Bruce and Kyle MacLachlan in a David Lynch movie?
