From 2008 to present J. Chastain has written a dark, surreal web comic that's been called Demon Planet and Monster Killers. The most current story arc finds the current protagonists Percy Genjin and Donald Kong trapped inside of the lost Nintendo cartridge of 'Rally Rally'. They order pizza, they blog, they get into fights, they text, they slowly and painfully give asexual birth to car-like creatures.

The Lion Man is very Thurber-esque in style. It varies wildly in style after that, which I think is kind of amazing.

THIS CAVE CONTAINS 7500 LIONS.

This is seriously underrated just from looking at Lion Man alone. There's so much I don't know about spikes.

Night Time Medical College is where it really starts getting good. He starts experimenting more w/ panel construction and color schemes.
