"If you have to ask the price, you can't afford it" but are we talking greater or less than $100 million for machines like the top tier?If you're doing bitcoin mining you can put together a rig that can do 8 TFlops for about $1,200. Multiply that by a thousand and that's just $1.2 million for 8 petaflops. That's for the cards and the motheboards. You're going to need an interconnect though.
