this is my crusade, i guess.

a link in a thread (not on the home page) from 7 months ago is a double-post? thoughts in metatalk.

i'm sorry, jason, but i don't think a comment in a thread counts against kd for a double post.

Found this one too. Close enough? What do you think?

er... no, jason, i don't think it's close enough. the threads are similar, yes, but as long as the threads are separated by a reasonable amount of time (as they are), you should not be expected to go searching for similar threads when you want to submit one. i'm sorry, but i think that's going too far.

whatever, we are being a bit elitist. At least he didn't point us to the "end of the internet."

this double-post spitefulness is indicative of the animosity and arrogance that resides in the ostensibly passive individuals who post here. We all need our enemies, but behold, it is us!

Oh pooh ... it's new to me.

Anyhoo ... while there, I followed the link to the Mindguard site. It downloads, compiles, and runs just fine on my Red Hat 7.0 system. Since running Mindguard, I've felt the compelling urge to see the new Mariah Carey movie begin to abate.
