Spider head, spider head:
Crawls away when you think it's dead.

Could be you, could be me.
Have a drink and we'll wait and see.

Look out! Here comes the spider head!

Eponymous professional jealousy?

Uncanny Sinatra impression. Great stuff!

I need to memorize the lyrics and sing them whenever "That's Why The Lady is a Tramp" is playing.

Their Commando: The Musical is also uncanny.

Did Sinatra just reincarnate to sing these lyrics? Seriously, whoever sung this song just blew me away.

His pattern has been reconstituted within the bio-matrix.

Where in a Childs I'd hide
And pray for flamethrowers
And MacReady
To quietly pass me by

Ohh oh oh <unintelligible roar>

Sweet Childs o' Mine

Heh. When I first discovered the magic that is Peter Gabriel back in the early eighties, I had an idea to make a short claymated music video for his song "Not One Of Us" (from his 1980 self titled album) - and I pictured it as a climactic musical number from "The Thing". I had visions of a little claymated MacReady dancing around with a flamethrower to the chorus of the song "No no no not one of us".
I'd like to claim that legal rights issues kept the project from happening, but really, it was my realization that I utterly lacked the animation skills necessary to even try such a thing.

Christian Nyby's The Thing from Another World The Musical has snappier numbers.
