I'll show you mine..."DeskSwap is a multi-user screensaver that swaps images of the user's desktop with others using the screensaver."

Talk about privacy/security issues, any document I leave open will will be sent out if the screensaver kicks in.

Soon people will install PCAnywhere with no password so you can have a really candid view of someone's computer.

I was actually interested in the program, downloaded it, and watched it crash six times before quickly uninstalling it.

Not quite ready for public consumption, at least on a Win2000 system.

I was disappointed that the website didn't have screenshots.

Yeah, it's still an alpha and it's REALLY buggy. I got it to work a couple of times (normally after a boot, but then always crashed after that). It's kinda interesting once it's working though...kind of voyeuristic. And you really get a sense of how sloppy the majority of people are with their desktops.

I think that if it becomes (much, much) more stable, and gets a "minimize all open windows upon execution" command to hide sensitive documents -- it could be interesting.

I think that defeats its purpose. Its supposed to be voyeuristic.

I think just by looking at a persons desktop you can tell there os, what program they have installed rescently (save shortcut to desktop) and what there current backround & color scheme is, what more do you want, full access to c:\

Enjoy. (This is what my screen usually looks like, btw, I didn't set up the shot. And yes, I'm still using that "reminders for 9-18-01" file...damn procrastination.)
