What do you get when you cross a pug with the Wampa from The Empire Strikes Back?

In my nightmare version, it begins leaping onto faces and eating them, a la the bunny rabbit in The Holy Grail. posted by angrycat at 2:42 PM on November 14, 2011
Suspect this is shopped. Genetic engineering is not yet advanced enough for us to cross a dog with a fictional animal. posted by Ad hominem at 2:44 PM on November 14, 2011 [1 favorite]
Is that dog named "Jobs"? posted by griphus at 2:52 PM on November 14, 2011
Why wouldn't they have just gone all-in and named the damn dog Porkins? posted by gompa at 3:36 PM on November 14, 2011
That looks like it would be uncomfortably warm for poor Chubbs.
Again, the things a dog will do for their owner... posted by basicchannel at 3:56 PM on November 14, 2011
Is it wrong I want to eviscerate this animal and use its entrails as a slipper to keep my right foot warm? It is? What if there were two of them and I could have a matching pair?
That is so adorable; i am a bit biased however, seeing as that I am a pug owner. They do like great in costumes! posted by Jaymzifer at 4:20 PM on November 14, 2011 [1 favorite]
Pugs should always wear costumes. Always. Because really, why not?
Chubbs seems pretty happy with herself. And why shouldn't she be? She looks adorable. posted by darksong at 4:22 PM on November 14, 2011

Deliriously happy looking pug face + waggling horns! This is so cute it is honestly ridiculous. posted by emmtee at 6:29 PM on November 14, 2011 [3 favorites]
That poor thing.
That being said, pugs are satan's favored dog. posted by nevercalm at 6:32 PM on November 14, 2011

Indeed. Of the many problems Pugs can have (I said can ok), is breathing difficulty and heating issues as a result. That said, when at an eye specialist for canines, the place was dominated by Pugs with stitched closed eyes which in itself could make a good, though unfortunate, costume. posted by juiceCake at 6:45 PM on November 14, 2011
cjorgensen, dude, that is so wrong. You're totally getting your Wampas and Taun Tauns mixed up. (Wait, is my nerd showing?) posted by artychoke at 7:26 PM on November 14, 2011 [1 favorite]
Dammit, Legomancer -- you had me all excited because I thought you were linking to a Badger Badger Badger remake with Wampas. posted by McCoy Pauley at 7:39 AM on November 15, 2011
