Have all your terrible opinions about Reddit confirmed by Shit Reddit Says, a subreddit for links to Reddit posts and comments that are bigoted, creepy, misogynistic, transphobic, unsettling, racist, homophobic, and/or overtly privileged that have been promoted by Redditors through upvotes. Warning: It's gets really really bad. Little more context from Subreddit of the Day.

This post was deleted for the following reason: I dunno, there's something to be said for looking at how communities self-reflect but I'm not sure just pointing a spotlight at SRS mostly out of context is a great way to proceed. -- cortex

Warning, SRS is a whirlwind of injokes and sarcasm and may be impossible to understand. Just like the rest of Reddit.

The PRAISE BE TO TIA thing is a joke response to someone asking what the acronym TIA meant (It means "that is all") which began the worship of Tia Landry from the 90s sitcom Sister, Sister.

Ironically this gets posted the same day I decide to unsubscribe from /r/glbt due to getting tired of having a source of new reasons to get engaged about Shit People Say, including Shit Reddit Says.

Finally, proof we are in the worst of all possible worlds.

The same could be created for any social network.

But why would you want to? A website like "Shit Reddit Says" is as bad as the people saying it in the first place. It's childish and time wasting. It reminds me of when a friend tastes or smells something truly vile and then says, "Dude, check this out, it's AWFUL!!!" Uh, no thanks. You just told me it's awful. Pass.

Do Not Promote Awful. Please.

it takes 2 seconds to go to reddit and see shitty things they say - do we need to give it a spotlight over here?

oh, you missed r/transphobiaproject, which exists to point out and counteract transphobia, and r/AskFeminists , in which people who are not feminists speculate about what a straw feminist would say.

Also, there's r/anarchism's meta-discussion sub-reddit, MetAnarchism

insert lazy joke about anarchists and self-organizing

on reflection, this is a lot of log-flipping and rock-lifting, and I probably shouldn't engage in it.
