"Damn, Nature, You're One Sexy Beast!" -- A catalog of amazing nature photos.

I want to know the story on the tenth one. How could there be a place like that? Where the heck is the water going?

It's called Thor's Well.

And I had to check because I didn't believe it was real. But it is.

Pretty pictures, but I'd like them better if they were attributed to their creators.

No attribution = do not like at all.

Along with attributions, I sure do wish they included a mention of where they were taken....

(Also, thanks MexicanYenta for letting me know about a place that's definitely worth it to go see, an easy day trip away from where I live!)

Why is it so fucking hard to include attribution with a photograph? The owner of the website is making money selling ads on his site using other people's content. Fuck off.

It's just an L-shaped tunnel in the rock, basically. It goes down a bit and then out toward the ocean. When waves come in, the water shoots up out of the hole; when the waves go out, the water drains down the hole like in the picture.

Here's a video.

Nature doesn't look like that. And HDR doesn't have to look like that.

These are some pretty shamelessly photoshopped nature photos.

Oh, it gets better...this "Ned Hardy" buttwipe has used mod_rewrite or similar to point direct links to any image to google.com, breaking Tineye's reverse image search so nobody can check proper attribution on their own initiative. "Ned" is also using no fewer than 12 ad networks or analytics suites on his site to pimp out others' content while getting all miserly with his own bandwidth. Chocolate Pickle, no reflection on you, but this post has got to go. Fuck giving people like that guy any ad impressions.

It's like someone went back in time & gave Albert Bierstadt a Rebel XTI and a copy of Photoshop.

The cracked-like content on the other sections of the site are so amazingly old circa Internet 2003. Beats working for a living I suppose.

Anybody know where the next to the last pic of the cultivated fields on the side of the mountain was taken?

@mattoxic curation takes a while

Bluehorse, that one stood out for me too. I'd guess it's in either the Dolomites in Italy or the Austrian Sudtirol.

I came here to ask about the same pic as BlueHorse. I thought perhaps China?
