Yogurt!

In all fairness, they're speaking Hebrew, so that's probably Israeli yogurt, which is delicious.

Well, to be pedantic, it looks like he loved yogurt about 12 years ago. He might have moved on to other delicacies by now. Brains, perhaps?

Ha! I was thinking that I've seen that kid on The Walking Dead.

What I love about this video is that, since it's from 1999, the kid featured is exactly the right age to be completely and utterly humiliated by this going viral.

I hope he's either not online or is oblivious.

My first thought when I saw this was that the kid was exactly the right age to have found the video in the family archives and uploaded it himself. (Or perhaps it was a vengeful sibling!)

Make sure you watch past the first minute for the deep existential experience of a toddler staring into your soul and finding the sum total of your existence less interesting than a spoonful of yoghurt.

Also, keep in mind that, if the time stamp is to be believed, this talented kid is a teenager now.

I dunno, man. If that were me in the video and I was now 12 or 13, I'd think that shit was hilarious and send it to everyone I know. I'm also not really sure how anyone who isn't directed there by someone who knows the baby would be able to identify the kid. As far as I can tell, the uploader's real name isn't on there and they are using the Youtube handle uvki2810. Not to mention that none of the other videos give a clue as to who it is.

I hope, fingers crossed, that he turned out just fine. He loves his yoghurt way too much.

Yes my little 1.3-year-old exhibits similar behavior with yogurt (and raisins, and crackers, and milk, and pretty much anything edible). He eats raisins as if the world is about to end.

I've never documented this for the internet because I don't want my children to become memes.

Of course, if that baby moves to the US when he grows up, he will stop loving good Israeli yogurt, and instead eat only fake fro-yo with too many toppings from the mall. He will turn his back on his traditions and he will NEVER CALL HIS PARENTS!

Mine leans forward like he's got a secret to share. If you lean up to him, he smiles a sly smile and goes "mmmMMMmmm!"

Someone on reddit posted this translation:

"Now let's see...Orileh - let's make a commercial for Tara's [manufacturer's] 'White and to the point' [yogurt snack name]."

"Yes!! Who wants to eat?!"

"Just to set things straight, Ori makes those same noises for all types of food...but to get to the point, this is a commercial..."

"Hahaha it's just eshel kookoo! [eshel = the snack, kookoo = nickname]"

"What a kid!"

"Yes yes yes here...."

"You see those cute little teeth...what a loved little boy"

"Alright, looks like we got the idea here...I swear I'm going to tape him no matter the food from now on..."

"Okay, you've had enough?"

I am reminded of baby birds, competing for whatever is brought.

But realistically, I have a new nephew, and he is also enthusiastic about food. But there seems a common idea of babies being finicky about food. This kid acts like food isn't always offered.
