3-D imageryfrom NOAA of the crater at ground zero, engineers are using them to find the location of elevators and support structures located beneath the rubble.

about ten days after the attack I noticed planes flying directly over WTC and thought it odd... how and why would they allow that so soon? guess that was the NOAA doing something useful. Then I saw Diane Sawyer on 20/20 doing an "investigative report" where she was in one of the fighter jets patrolling lower Manhattan... now what use does that serve?

It really shows the guts of the disaster, you can even make out crowds of people lining up to gawk.
