Well, at least it's a break from NewsFilter and a bit of the funny stuff on the internet I appreciate other people linking. posted by msacheson at 2:11 PM on October 4, 2001
The pizza list was the first thing in a long time to make me laugh outloud. Good link. posted by signal at 2:37 PM on October 4, 2001
Yikes...all I get from any of the links is "Cannot find server..."

I managed to read them with Google's cache. Just put "cache:[url]" in for a search term, as in cache:http://www.thepetdetective.com/pizza.htm. OF course, because of some poor design choices on this site, you'll have to select all the text on the site to read it, or use Opera like I do and click the "no formatting" button.
Speaking of which, from that link...
"89. Order with a Speak-n-Spell where applicable."
I actually did that once, but it was a computer text-to-speech program, not a Speak-n-Spell. It was hilarious...we just wrote up a little script reciting the address and order, and had it say "press 1 to repeat this message" at the end.
Best part? The poor sap on the other end actually pushed 1 =) posted by CrayDrygu at 5:44 PM on October 4, 2001
"Kenneth" is actually Ken Schaefer from NYC, who I've met. Kenny worked on some pretty intense sattellite (sp?) technology which the russians were quite interested in. Kenny used to look a lot like Dan Rather, but he now has a moustache (sp?) posted by mikojava at 10:04 PM on October 4, 2001
