Paintings owned by the state and local authorities together with those held in charitable trusts for the benefit of the public make up the national collection shown on the Your Paintings website
This is extremely disappointing. My kid did a wonderful painting which we've displayed on our refrigerator and they won't show it. They say "Your Paintings", but they don't understand that my kid is a genius. posted by twoleftfeet at 3:52 AM on January 1

This work is held in a private collection. I would advise throwing your fridge open to the public under charitable trust, or donating the work to the National Gallery. posted by WPW at 7:42 AM on January 1
This is a pretty fabulous project, invaluable for schools.
Do wish they were higher resolution pics though. posted by brilliantmistake at 8:15 AM on January 1
Thanks. Found a favorite I found once and only had a brief moment to view. I've wanted to examine it closely for years. It's this Annunciation. I guess that architecture is Florence? posted by Goofyy at 9:37 AM on January 1
