Mmm...brownies...aaarrrgghhh... It seems a middle school lad in Santa Cruz, CA had something different in mind for extra credit. Clark said the teacher, who was aware the 14-year-old boy had past problems with marijuana, jokingly asked for one of the "pot brownies." The boy gave her one, and she ate it. Be careful what you ask for.

Shouldn't that teacher be fired for violating zero-tolerance policy? Stupidity has a double standard it seems.

Yes, I could have sworn it's against the law for a teacher to let a student or herself give other students a food they made.

Aikido, he specifically asked for a controlled substance. I'm sure students couldn't joke like that in front on an authority figure. Zero-tolence, it should work both ways if you want to eradicate it.

i think considering the details, "off the hook" would be an injustice. anything less than "all the way live" just doesn't do.
