Falling cats

Just because falling cats are dangerous doesn't mean falling cats aren't fun. Indeed, there's a history of falling cats. They pretty much land on their feet.

She is described as being in a critical condition in hospital after suffering a fractured skull.
The cat didn’t survive the fall.
It's going to take me a while to work my way up to the fun we're supposed to be having in the next link. Because that's really awful.

Sorry to threadshit, but this seems like a bit of a thin post built on a hurf durf story from yesterday in which a guy throws a cat out of a window and it dies.
I'm with louche mustachio - it's an awkward segue at best.

It does seem a little tone deaf to have fun! with! cats! when the cat died and an elderly woman is seriously injured.
