Although I could do without slow-motion dog butt. posted by spitefulcrow at 10:14 AM on January 29
My favorite dog thing is when they play fight and play snarl and bite and punch. Like, they are dogs, but they are actually pretending. Also, music was painful. posted by thinkpiece at 10:40 AM on January 29

I moved to DC's Lincoln Park neighborhood almost 15 years ago. I wanted to live near Eastern Market, near Metro and near my girlfriend at the time. I found my apartment and moved in, right off the park, after a series of midweek lunchtime previews. Imagine my surprise when I walked home the first workday--probably 50 dogs and their owners running around, filling the park. I had had no idea before then. For 15 years now, I've walked through a dog park twice every work day. I'm not a dog owner, or even a dog person, really, but seeing that joy twice a day every day has improved my life tremendously. posted by MrMoonPie at 10:49 AM on January 29 [14 favorites]
I was watching that and thinking "Huh, that looks a lot like the Percy Warner dog park here in Nashville." And it turns out that dude is in Nashville, so it probably is the Warner dog park. posted by ghharr at 11:07 AM on January 29
So much sheer joy. This made my day so much that I'm half-tempted to call the number you can (clearly) see on the Great Dane's tag at the end to thank them. posted by Ufez Jones at 11:54 AM on January 29
I'm actually impressed by how much dog butt was edited out of that video. Every time the Great Dane greets another dog there's a strategic cut away just as his nose reaches about the halfway point on the other dog. posted by maryr at 1:40 PM on January 29
Feels a bit like being mounted under the neck of an AT-AT walker.
That has a pronounced interest in other AT-AT walkers' butts. posted by bicyclefish at 3:27 PM on January 29 [2 favorites]
