That's awesome and beautiful and will do a wonderful job of giving my wife the screaming eebie jeebies when I show it to her later. Thanks! posted by Ipsifendus at 5:53 AM on January 31
Lovely. They're beautiful in their own right but it is interesting how a panning shot can make time lapse much more watchable. (Reminds me of Miyazaki's spore-filled landscapes in Nausicaa.) posted by ioesf at 6:08 AM on January 31

Funny, ioesf, I had the opposite reaction - didn't feel like the panning was necessary at all, and even distracted from the beautifully subtle movement of the growth. The faster the pan, the less I liked it. posted by mediareport at 6:45 AM on January 31
Agreed, the panning was distracting. But then again, the sound track from my dentist's waiting room was equally bad. posted by k5.user at 6:50 AM on January 31 [1 favorite]

I liked the slow pan, but I still eek-ed while watching it. posted by source.decay at 9:52 AM on January 31
