So true. Once you learn to see the clichés of movie posters, you can't unsee them. I also love his all around style too though, but it does make me think we need a modern day Tesla, maybe one who will invent hyperspace drives or something. ;)

While we're pointing out cliches, isn't re-imagined comic book Tesla a bit overdone? (Atomic Robo, 5 Fists of Science, etc.)

Font Feed has a running series of posts critiquing movie posters. He has gone much further in depth pointing out modern cliches, often showing copy cat posters side by side by side.
