The Women of the Future A set of saucy (yet also awesome, and SFW if you don't work in 1902) postcards from Albert Bergeret of Nancy, depicting a future of equal opportunities and racy, sleeveless outfits. Translations under the cut.
Careers from top to bottom, and left to right, although most are pretty self-explanatory:
Pompier - Firefighter
Zouave - Light Infantry
Maitre d'Armes - Fencing Tutor
Étudiant - Student
Docteur - Doctor
Député - Congressman
Maire - Mayor
Avocat - Lawyer
Journaliste - You probably got that one
Cocher - Coachman
Jockey - Well, yes.
Rapin - Art Student
Général - General
Sous-Lieutenant - Second Lieutenant
Sous-Officier - Warrant Officer
Marin - Marine
Petit Tambour - Drummer Boy
Gendarme - Policeman
Garde-Champetre - Ranger
Conscrit - Conscript (literally - she's acting out a tradition where the "conscripts" would promenade in top hats and tails, wearing coloured ribbons according to their age - the modern-day equivalent looks like this.)
