I hear there's a Mefi gathering at the IHOP in Elmsford, New York this weekend.

are you serious, I listened to morning glory yesterday, and I thought to myself "what if my first post to the front page was about oasis, it would be like the pancake post." I'm not joking, but I didn't. I love Oasis, but in a partially campy way, cause they're always on in the background in the pub on Eastenders.

I'll be in Ann Arbor. Of course, I live here. Oasis is coming here? I bet they like pancakes. Do you like pancakes? Discuss.

Oasis? Whatever. I'm sure that Oasis is not better than, say, the Monkees. Until Oasis gets a weekly TV gig and does silly things with a cool car and lots o'chicks and harebrained "grownups", they won't be as cool as the Monkees.

I'm allowed ONE gratuitous comment today, and this is it.

hey hey, we're oasis
and people say we're never around
cuz we're too busy fighting
to ever release new sounds.
That's my quota. Goodbye

I've been a huge Oasis fan for a few years now and I keep up with their silly, drunken goings-on quite regularly. Things don't look good at the moment. Again.

On the other hand, we now have The Strokes, so I'll live if Oasis decides to split up.
